Seabridge lifts Deep Kerr inferred resource above a billion tonnes

Canadian project developer Seabridge Gold has lifted the compliant inferred resource at its Deep Kerr deposit to above one-billion tonnes, which were now estimated to contain more than 11.3-million ounces of gold and 11.8-billion pounds of copper.
The explorer on Tuesday published an updated mineral resource estimate for the deposit, which was only a part of the company’s flagship KSM project, in North-Western British Columbia, added 3.2-million ounces of gold and 2.1-billion pounds of copper to the 2014 resource estimate, with ores grading 0.35 g/t gold and 0.53% copper in the inferred category.
