The share price of Anglo American rose sharply in early morning trade on Tuesday after the company unveiled the new Anglo that will focus only on diamonds, platinum and copper and exit coal, iron-ore, manganese, nickel, niobium and phosphates.
Following the announcement, the Anglo share price rose 7.79% in Johannesburg to R96.25 a share before 10:00 and the Kumba Iron Ore price by 3.54% to R55.90 a share before 11:00.
