Botswana-listed Shumba Energy believes two of its advanced baseload coal-fired energy projects could supply electricity to South Africa. South Africa is, through its coal baseload independent power producer (IPP) programme, seeking to procure energy from both domestic IPPs, as well as through cross-border procurement.
