Diversified miner South32 has appointed Rowena Smith in the newly created role of chief sustainability officer, and Peter Finnimore in the newly created role of chief marketing officer. CEO Graham Kerr said on Tuesday that the two new appointments to the South32 lead team reflected the direction of the company and the importance that South32 placed on its people, the communities in which it operated, and its environment.
