For the first time, Trelleborg’s offshore operation will showcase its innovative range of high performance solutions, from topside to subsea at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC Asia) in Kuala Lumpa, Malaysia. Located on stand E411, the company will present a number of advancements across its portfolio of topside and subsea products, including their deluge and sprinkler system, Elastopipe™ and topside Jet Fire resistant Passive Fire Protection products. In addition, Trelleborg will demonstrate its subsea buoyancy control developments, including its latest Distributed Buoyancy Module and Clamp solution.

While at the show, Trelleborg will give visitors at OTC Asia a firsthand look at some of its innovative topside solutions and will showcase samples of its popular passive fire protection, FireNut™, Vikodeck and its deluge and sprinkler system, Elastopipe™. Experts will be on the stand to discuss the importance of passive fire protection.

Sales Manager within the Trelleborg offshore operation, Andrew Chiong, commented: “In offshore environments, fire safety is of the utmost importance, as the occurrence of fire can cause colossal amounts of damage and danger. On the stand my colleagues and I will discuss why rubber-based, non-metallic flexible deluge systems are the best solution for passive fire protection..

“All of our solutions are designed to meet the most stringent offshore requirements, offering the highest level of resistance against heat, abrasion and environmental impact. We control our entire manufacturing process from end-to-end, providing our customers with transparency and peace of mind.”

In addition, delegates will get the opportunity to meet with Trelleborg subsea experts to discuss the importance of choosing the correct buoyancy option for flexible and static flowlines, as well as its proven manufacturing technique that produces finished modular geometry, optimizing processing costs and lead times. The operation will also showcase our range of thermal insulation, Vikotherm™.

Ajan Das, Business Development Manager for Trelleborg’s offshore operation states: “OTC Asia is an important industry event and we look forward to discussing our latest developments in buoyancy and bend control manufacturing with the attendees.

“The exhibition provides the ideal platform for Trelleborg to highlight its solutions and expertise on demanding subsea applications directly to the people who can benefit from them most. We look forward to listening to the needs of industry professionals firsthand to gain insight into what they require now and in the future.”
