ASX-listed Wollongong Coal has awarded a 800 000 t/y run-of-mine coal haulage contract to rail freight company Aurizon. Aurizon will transport coal from Wollongong’s Wongawilli colliery, in New South Wales, to the Port Kembla coal terminal on the east coast of the state. The contract will run between August this year and August 2018.
