Actively mined in the summer of 2014, but the owner wants to retire. The mine is on 400 acres of patented mining claims which has road access and a 4,000 foot airstrip adjacent to the property. In this part of southern Alaska, the mining season can be as long as five or even six months. A typical mining season produces very profitable amounts of gold.
