Description
his is a rare Claim to have just outside of Beatty Nevada. NMC 1120195 "THE CANYON WASH". Most Claims are Patented or are held claimed for years by Claimants that do not relinquish the Claim in this area according to research done. This Lode Claim is 20 acres, as you can see has TWO MINES, and a generous amount of Tailings are present. The Tailings, are in a lot of cases holding valuable mineral content that was never extracted during the original mining process and left behind with a lot of the older mines.. Many of these older mines have Tailings and dumps that hold several ounces to a ton of Gold, Silver, Copper etc.The lower Adit runs approximately 365 ft. This, as you can see, the lower Adit is in good shape, cut right into the rock, making everything more accessible without much effort. As you can see there is nice color in there, The top mine has some old Timber workings that have partially blocked the entrance this mine goes down around 200 feet approximately, so you have around just over 500 feet of mine to work! In addition to this, the natural sloping of the hill, the location of the actual Mines, do not forget to check for minerals that have washed down, as there are a few wash areas. When you look at the location of the Mines, the District, the Tailings, and just the general history of the area, with historic discoveries/mines noted by the USGS such as the Wildcar Claims, the Bye Claims, the Daisy Gold Mine Claims, this could become be a worthwhile Claim, with a little effort. This Claim, appears to have everything one could look for in a past producer to work for new discoveries. The general Claim dates back to around 1910. There is some real history here.
History
Claim appears to have dated back to around the early 1900's and again worked in the late 30's to early 40's.
