Located in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a rural area but drive right to it.

The Copper Lake property has a (now filled in) shaft to the 30 metre level, with some drifting. At least 26 holes were drilled on the property, mainly for copper, but values up to 0.4% were obtained in grab samples and core. Few of the holes were analysed for Cobalt. The area hosting the highest Cobalt values has just a few holes. The mineralization also includes significant percentages of arsenopyrite, bismuthinite, chalcopyrite, cubanite, galena, magnetite, molybdenite, pyrite, pyrrhotite and sphalerite, in hornefelsed, calc-silicate rich meta-volcanics.

The area occurs in Cambrian Meta-volcanics.

Discovered in the 1870's, most of the drilling was done in the 1950's, with just 6-8 holes drilled since then. Few were analyzed for Cobalt.

The Bismuth may be as valuable as the Cobalt.
