The mining permit covers an area of 15,320 Acres. The permit has an estimate $2 Billion worth of copper ore as per 2008 geological survey. This sale is for full mining rights for copper / cobalt subject to royalties (0.5 percent ferrous metals, 2 percent non-ferrous metals and other taxes payable to the State) Bids should be based on a capacity up to 1,200,000 metric tonnes of copper ore in the permit.
