The Expectation mine is thought to have at least two access portals, both in line with the general trending of the veins in the area. Both portals have collapsed and will require some rehabilitation and stabilization to be actively worked. There are two waste dumps on the claims, totaling an estimated 150k tons. There is also a high-grade ore dump located near the mine camp. This ore contains chalcopyrite, native gold, and some molybdenum. The assay valuation from the high-grade ores and the waste dumps is noted below. There is a well appointed mine camp on the claims, consisting of a tidy and well-kept cabin, a seasonal spring and corral. This in addition to substantial timber which could be used readily to timber the mine workings upon opening. The assumed high-grade ore is some of the most impressive free gold that has been noted by the survey team in many years. The location is very remote and appears to have only been visited by skiers who have used the cabin as a warming hut. This is a high value property that has potential for extremely lucrative returns with minimal effort. The location in southern Colorado is ideal for a mild climate and longer mining season.
