Granite Creek is located in the Tintina Gold belt. Barrick Golds “Donlin Creek” project is 30 miles to the south west and has drilled gold reserves over 50 million ounces. Barrick Gold claimed most of the ground around Granite Creek in the late 2000’s they have since let the leases expire,,, but. Living Quarters – Nice 2 story cabin with full kitchen and bath facilities. Electric and solar energy supply lights and fridge power. New Shower facility was in the process of construction in 2018. Mine - A geology report was prepared for a 1000 ft section of Granite Creek. This report was the basis for production mining in the 1990’s, and netted substantial gold recovery for the owner. Mine Operations - require 3 individuals to run. Newer Shaker/Sluice plant. 60-75 yard and hour capable.
