The Kamzwas ore body is divided into three fragments. The first fragment consists primarily of Copper oxide ore of about 17 million tons of ore at an average grade of 1.35% valued at USD 1.95 billion. Most of the ore body is accessible as an outcrop suitable for open pit mining. The second ore body is also primarily Copper oxide of about 42 million tons of ore at an average grade of 2.40% valued at USD 7.5 billion. the ore body is partially in outcrop formation. The third ore body is primarily Copper sulphide ore with some Copper oxides of about 16 million tons of ore at an average grade of 3.2% valued at USD 4.5 billion. The ore body is mainly in an underground formation.
