Mining Permit # 52-186. This mining permit of 225 ha is located at the southern end of the Paparoa Ranges on NZ's South Island, and it this location is about 10km by sealed road from the town of Greymouth (population of 12,000 and the regional business centre). The area includes alluvial (placer) gold as well as very rich hard-rock deposits of gold and antimony, current mining permit and access agreements to mine.

The quartz reefs in this area have never ever been drilled properly, there was some drilling done in the 1930s from inside of one of the old mines and this revealed the existence of a reef 70 feet away at almost 1 oz per ton but these guys were after the Victory reef that was giving up to 84 oz per ton so they never followed their finding. Within the permit were half a dozen quartz mines including the Victory Gold Mine, Bonanza Gold Mine, Langdons Gold & Antimony Mine, Langdons Extended Gold Mine and the Julian Gold Mine, All these mines were stopped with geological faults and it is well known that there is much more of the very auferous quartz left in this mountain. It has never been drilled using modern drilling methods and there is an absolute fortune of gold there just waiting to be recovered. It is not a matter of luck but a matter of doing the right thing in the right place.

This area is a area of Greenland rock formation that is exposed by the uplifting of the Paparoa Ranges. The area is broken by faulting causing the previous miners to curtail operations within the area. This permit has enormous potential for the development of an underground gold mining operation plus with the added advantage of an easily developed and accessed placer gold resource.
