The mining claim called Las Abejas is located in the municipality of La Huerta in the State of Jalisco, 180 Kms In a straight line to the SW of the city of Guadalajara, Jal., and 3 Kms to the NE of Las Abejas town, which along the Coyame Ranch are the villages more close to the explored area.

The concession can be accessed from the city of Guadalajara by the federal road No. 80 which leads to Barra de Navidad, passing by the populations of Cocula, Tecolotlan, Union de Tula, Autlan de Navarro, Casimiro Castillo and diverting 11 Kms before reaching the village of La Huerta to the ranch of Coyame, taking a diversion at 2 Kms. Toward rancho Las Abejas.

The entire route is by paved road to the ranch Las Abejas taking 3 hours average from Guadalajara city.

The area in question is located in the Fisiografic province of the mountain range Sierra Madre of the south, which includes the Western and southern portion of the State of Jalisco, characterized by the presence of the coastal mountain ranges of southern.

The topography in the area of interest is rugged with elevations from 700 meters above the sea level, forming a series of ridges oriented NW-SE 45 ° surrounded by a large Valley oriented towards the East, covering up the population of La Huerta, the difference in elevation between the parties lowest topographic area of Las Abejas and the Coyame villages and parts of highest elevation in the explored area is 300 meters.

A large number of streams draining the area mainly in times of rain which is during the months of July to October, and a stream called the Cuije is permanent, passing through the town of Coyame and draining towards the River Purificacion which passes close to the area and goes into the Pacific Ocean, being the main hydrological unit of the area.

In the area there are sedimentary rocks represented by limestones mainly of late upper age probably belonging to the Madrid formation, in thin to medium strata.
Also there are Igneus rocks of tertiary age formed by intrusive Granodioritics and Dioritics, as well as Andesitic tuffs.

MINERAL DEPOSITS
By what it was observed in the field, the area that is of interest as regards the present mineralization consists of an area of contact between the Dioritic composition intrusive rocks and sedimentary rocks formed by limestone, in where by effects of the Dioritic intrusion origins the formation of a zone of Skarn that shows a lot of Especularite or specular iron ore which could be associated with Gold and copper ores.
The rocks named as Skarn, are metamorphic rocks that originate when the carbonate sedimentary rocks experiments the effects of pressure and temperature produced by the intrusion of igneous rocks from the magmatic chamber which in its time provide mineralized solutions placing in the new formed rocks, is this case the Skarn can be endoskarn or exoskarn, depending on whether the mineralization occurs within sedimentary rocks or outside in the igneous intrusionante rocks.

This area can be seen in an area of approximately 1,500 Oriented to the East and 500 meters to the South, within the area that covers the mining claim explored towards its northern portion.

The main alterations that could be observed are large areas of oxidation of minerals of iron, as well as kaolinization and sericitizacion in igneous rocks.
