Summary
There is no permafrost and no overburden in this valley evident from the diggings I have done. The creek flows approximately 1.4m wide by .2m deep. The main road that allowed miners access further into these mountains comes to the base of this property. This allows the miner instant access from the road onto the claims. I have not drilled in this area yet to prove deeper samples, though, the deeper that samples are taken the better the gold shows, this is a fact as gold is very heavy and sinks into the placer gravels. The elevation of the property at the bottom is 1097 feet each line marks a 50m increment in elevation. Traveling on the dirt road the distance to Carmacks is 24 miles, about an hour and a half drive. The mining season typically goes from May to September maybe as late as October depending on the weather.
