35 km north west of Trail, British Columbia, Canada. This is a surface mine with easy road access.

The mine is located on a 30 acre British Columbia mineral title number 546686. There are five adjacent titles and some are being mined and processed on a small scale. The deposit is exposed beside the access road for about 4 meters wide by 345 meters long. Two adits in the hillside show the deposit is at least 56 meters deep. The gold occurs as nuggets and small particles in white silica rock.

The gold claims in this area straddle Fourty Nine Creek approximately 7 kilometers southeast of its confluence with the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. Geological Mapping was undertaken by Minorex Consulting, Vancouver. The geologists mapped and surveyed the 610 meters of underground workings and published a report: BC Minfile 14,417 in January 1985,

Active exploration was first carried out by Reliance Gold Mining of Nelson,BC between 1900 and 1905. In 1974, Highland Gold Mining, mapped,surveyed and sampled ore in the number 2 adit. In 1985 Player Resources of Vancouver constructed some new sections of access road and excavated 13 backhoe trenches, surveyed the outcrop, and assayed 62 rock samples.
