Summary
Location and Access
Seven 20 acre placer mining claims totaling 140 and encompassing ~1.5 miles of Tule Canyon in Esmeralda County, NV. The claims have direct year round road access.
Description
Geology
The material along Tule Canyon is about 12-18 feet thick and is composed of sand, gravel, and medium-sized boulders in the upper part of the canyon; angular detritus containing large boulders are found in the lower part of the canyon.
Gold is concentrated along bedrock and within the overlying 6 feet of gravels above bedrock. There are millions of yards of gold bearing material to mine.
History
The Tule Canyon placers are reported to have been discovered in 1876, but there is evidence of work by Mexicans before 1848. Several large scale dredging operations were attempted but this part of the canyon proved too narrow and hydraulic mining operations failed for lack of water.
Additional Information
I am offering these claims for sale with owner financing. The terms would be a purchase price of $45,000 with $750 down and the balance carried over 6 years at 4.5% which would make the payments $702/month. You would have full rights to mine the claims during the payment period. When the payments are completed I will transfer ownership to the buyer by recording the deed with the county and the BLM.
I am having trouble uploading pictures to this listing. I can send pictures and maps to interested buyers.
