Orbit Porphyry Project

10 kilometres northwest of the Logging and Mining village of Fraser Lake, British Columbia, Canada, home of the Endako Molybdenum mine. 175 kilometres west of Prince George.

The Orbit Property was staked by prospector Jon Rempel in the fall of 2011 after finding alteration and sulfide mineralization in a new road cut and in surrounding outcrops. The area was first subject to documented exploration in the late 1960s by Mercury Explorations Ltd who conducted soil sampling that indicated small copper in soil anomalies and an large Induced Polorization survey that defined a 3X1 kilometre crescent shaped IP anomaly and proposed 3 drill holes, See Aris report 2283 In the early 1970s the exploration climate was cooling due to Increasing taxes and requlations and falling metal prices and the claims were allowed to lapse. In 1990 Equity Silver Mines Ltd conducted soil sampling on the Jed Property to the south of the current property and their work indicateds a copper on soils anomaly in the northern portion of their grid, see Aris report 20967. Prospecting in recently exposed bedrock has returned samples with encouraging values, R-05, 1370 ppm Cu and 2.1 ppm Ag R-19, 343 ppm Cu and 0.88 ppm Ag QF1, 675 ppm Cu and 0.399 ppm Au, 0.9 ppm Ag QF2, 922 ppm Cu and 0.045 ppm Au, 0.5 ppm Ag P-02, 381 ppm Cu and 0.068 ppm Au, 0.6 ppm Ag

The Property is located in the Topley Porphyry Mineral Belt, the claims are underlain with Late Triassic Diorite, Stern Creek Phase, with Andesite and Quartz porphyry dikes as well as quartz and Epidote veining.
