Description

AYETE, Unipersonal Society, LDA, is offering an exceptional investment opportunity with the sale of an area of 3,089.33 hectares, equipped with a license for gold, ruby, garnet, aquamarine, and tourmaline exploration and research. The company holds the license and has a prospecting study report that reveals significant potential for gold exploration in the region. This strategic area presents favorable conditions for the development of mining projects and is located in a region rich in mineral resources.

Geology

The dominant rocks in the license area belong to the Mesoproterozoic complexes of Nairoto and Meluco and the Mesoproterozoic of Lalamo. Lithologically, the Nairoto complex is composed of P2NRgr (granitoid to tonalitic gneisses, locally migmatitic). The Meluco complex is formed by P2MCgd (granodioritic gneisses), P2Mcgr (granitoid gneisses). Lastly, the Lalamo complex is made up of P3LMbg (biotitic gneisses, locally granitoid, interbedded with metarenite, quartzite, and amphibolites), P3Lma (marble), P3Lmag (amphibolitic gneiss – metagabbro), P3LMma (ultramafic rocks) see (fig. 6) (NORTCONSULT, 2007). The mineralized rocks with graphitic gneiss are only found in the Nairoto complex, which predominantly includes granodioritic/granitoid/tonalit gneisses and migmatitic gneisses. There are already several studies referencing the existence of strategic metals in the area such as Gold, Copper, base metals, and associated metals. BULGARGEOMIN (1983), AFONSO & MARQUES; 1.

History

The study area covered by license 10053 of 3089.33 hectares is located northeast of Mozambique along the Mozambique belt (HOLMES, 1951). This area is part of the Eastern Gondwana terrain, constituting part of three terrains that make up the Mozambican crystalline basement, with the other two being referred to as Western Gondwana and Southern Gondwana (GTK CONSORTIUM, 2006). As mentioned earlier, the dominant rocks in the license area belong to the Mesoproterozoic complexes of Nairoto and Meluco and the Neoproterozoic of Lalamo.

Additional Information

The mining prospecting and research license is under extension valid until 2028. There are reports of prospecting and research conducted. The mine is for sale permanently.
