Silver values run from 52 oz to 486 oz per ton. Gold carries from .08 to 1 oz per ton. This is a Silver Mine with lead copper and zinc, gold and silver. It was active for many years and a mill was built to run the ore.

History

There is plenty of history to discover as written in the Denver Times on December 25, 1900, August 8, 1901 and August 19, 1901. There is also a very detailed stope map drawn up by mining engineer E.H. Vortkamp.
