The property is located on Causqua creek 40 km (25 miles ) north west of Smithers BC on Hwy 16 The last 6.5 KMs (4miles ) is via logging roads that are well maintained to in poor condition.

The mine is located on three mineral titles 75 hectares (185 ) acres . The explored shear zone like vein is cut almost in half by Causqua creek and is exposed on the canyon walls . The eastern section is faulted and moved upward. Two tunnels were driven along the north and south width of the vein and a decline in the direction of the east fault started. Systematic sampling and assaying from trenches, the exposed vein on the canon walls and drifts as well as from 22 diamond drill holes produced a map of the ore body west of the main fault as well as a non 43-101 compliant volume and grade estimate. In coming up with a volume a cut of grade of 311grams (10 oz ) of silver per ton was used. The results showed 31,000 tons with average 777 grams (25 oz ) per ton silver, 1.46 grams (.047 oz ) of gold per ton and 4% lead ,3% zinc. The cut of and moved segment to the east is virtually unexplored. In addition the most recent drilling program indicates to the author that another ore body lies below the explored segment. Between these two unexplored regions the indicated volume could easily be tripled.

The geology is best described by Landriault 2009 ,Watkins 2007, Seraphim 1968a,1968b,1969,1977 and by Minfile 093M 021.

The relatively flat lying explored zone/vein trends 020-040 degrees/ 15 degrees East and varies in width from a few centimetres to 3 meters ( a few inches to over 10 ft ) with an average width of 1.5 meters (5 ft ). The mineralized zone is hosted by sandstone, argillite and conglomerate. The sulphides in the shear zone consist in order of decreasing abundance ,of sphalerite ,galena ,pyrite, tetrahedrite ,arsenopyrite and minor amounts of bournonite , polybasite and pyrargyrite

1966 Mineral showings were discovered in a canyon of Causqua Creek by RH Dieter of Smithers and optioned to Virginia Silver Mines, a subsidiary of Silver Standard Mines Limited.

1968 Exploration work by Silver Standard included trenching, geological mapping and 180 meters of underground development from two adits located on either side of Causqua Creek. Twenty-two surface holes were drilled in the immediate area of the underground development. Reserves were estimated to be 31,000 tons grading 24.9 opt Ag using a cutoff of 10 opt Ag over a three foot width (Seraphim, 1968a ,1969b, 1969)

1969 Mineralogy and milling study for Silver Standard Mines Limited (Mathieu and Bruce,1969)

1975 The property was leased to Paul Kindrat who shipped 249 tons of hand sorted ore, mined from open cuts that returned 697,952 grams of silver and 401 grams of gold (Min of Energy,Mines and Petroleum Resources, Mining in BC., Vol 1, Mine Production, 1975-1980)

1977 The property was leased to Barrier Exploration who installed a 50 ton per day mill. A tailings impoundment dam was constructed. Two shipments of concentrate were made from development ore.

1990 The mine site was decommissioned.

1999 Silver Standard allowed the mineral claims to lapse.

1999 George Braun staked the first mineral claim followed in 2000 by the staking of two additional contiguous claims.

2001 George Braun carried out an 11 line km electromagnetic survey.

2006 Endurance Gold Corporation staked a block of contiguous mineral claims around Braun's three claims. Endurance optioned Braun's three claims to form the Virginia Silver Property.
