Summary

A rare opportunity exists to purchase 40 virgin claims on Tenderfoot creek in the Dawson mining district. Included is a package of equipment so that the purchaser will have a true turnkey operation. Good access road for most of the way which is likely to be upgraded when the Coffee Creek Hard rock mine comes on stream. New land use and Water Use licences are in place and extensive drilling and resistivity tests show very positive results.

Location and Access

Tenderfoot Creek is a direct tributary of the Stewart river. Access from Dawson City is via Hunker Creek and down Sulphur on government maintained roads. From there on to privately maintained roads through to Indian river and on to a new road that goes through to Henderson Creek and Maisy May. This road was built as part of the Coffee Creek hard rock mine project and will be substantially upgraded when the project comes on stream. Some road upgrading would be required from the Maisy May turn off to The Tenderfoot claim.

Description

These 40 claims take up the majority of the Tenderfoot creek watershed. Over $50K of investigative work has been done with drilling occurring in 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2014 with resistivity testing completed in 2013, 2014 and 2015. A total of 81 drill holes have been completed showing good results with relatively little frozen muck above the gold bearing gravels. A 10-year water use licence and land use permit are in place.

Additional Information

The Vendor is actively mining in the proximity but as he has over 500 claims he has decided to reduce his holdings and simplify his business. To that end, he has decided to put the Tenderfoot claims and associated equipment on the market.
