Regional Geology: Sedimentary Rocks: in the area crops out the Ayabacas Limentone, Formation from the Cretaceos, Puno Grup and Tacaza Volcanics fron the alluvial terciary, Quaternary and moraine deposits.

The Tacaza Volcanics, from the Miocene, crop out West from UNIGRANSA 1 consist of andesites and half prophyritic gray basalt with fludal texture. Mineralización is located at conglometate and tacaza andesite, lavic fluid and hydrothermal veins.
The cuaternary consists of moraines, fluvioglacial deposits, eluvial and colluvial or talus deposits.
The intrusive consist of andesites, granodiorites described at Lagunillas Geologic Map. INGEMMET, and gray diorites with hornblende in Santa Lucia.
The regional structure is a graven following the Lagunillas Hollow N60E where occur mainly intrusive and mineralized areas of Antaña, Ichocollo, Arasi, . Ayavaca Limestone crop out in contact with the Puno Group.
Deposit Geology: Mineralized parallel veins wide 0.15 -1,5 m. copper and silver. Epytermal in terciary volcanics and conglomerates.
Host rock Alteration: It can be notices siliceous – silica alteration, silica fine grains, vugs filled up with hematite, wad, quart crystals and alunite, there is also montmorillonite argillization.
