The Wounded Moose Mine is located at the confluence of Wounded Moose Creek and the Indian River, near the historic site of “Granville” on Dominion and Sulphur Creeks. The mine is approximately 85 Kilometers S.E. of Dawson City, Yukon, Canada. 2-wheel drive road access during mining season.

The Wounded Moose Gold Mine has recently expanded to 50 claims with potential for 60 more. This project is ideally suit to “floating” or “tow behind” type sluice system. The project is almost all virgin ground, bordering on previously successful mining area. These claims are the confluence of 3 rivers, all of which have very large watersheds and have adequate supply. Production: The New Zealand style Trommel included produces up to .53 troy ounces per hour. The production is based on 50-60 cubic yards per hour. The mine produce for 4 short seasons from May to September. Season can normally cover April through mid October. The owner of Wounded Moose Mining Co. Inc. is a retired miner and engineer who is operating the mine as a hobby during the summer months with a couple of helpers.

Approx 15ft. of overburden, 6ft of sluice section. Total area of 48,000,000 square feet. The entire surface could yield 13.3 Million cubic yards of high grade sluice material.
