The area is located approximately 35 km west of the town of Warwick in Southeast Queensland. The area can be accessed via the Cunningham Highway which provides year round access to the area. Numerous minor roads and forestry tracks link with this major arterial road to allow access to the tenement. Several minor townships and properties are scattered throughout the region which include Pratten, Montrose and Karara.

This small historical mine is in the process of being re-pegged as a working mine, it is for sale due to other larger projects needing time and capital. Its depth is to 40m with over 150m of horizontal shafts and workings. Working through slates and shales, and touching on sandstone ( another mine in the area graded 2400gpt working into the sandstone country rock) Shafts have been capped and covered for safety, new plan would use an open cut decline to the productive areas and drive from there. Old shafts can be opened for ventilation and emergency egress. Further underground expansion is seen as easy mining in good ground, with stratigraphy logs available. Site has approximately 1000 tonnes of tailings that were to be treated with cyanide, but never were, these grade between .5 to 1 gram per tonne, with free gold being panned- could be hydraulic mined and run through concentrator. A very compact site with all weather access, room for a good mine camp, good Iron bark timber for fencing (3 sides are fenced) with room for processing dam at bottom of block, in natural gully. Project is held by an Australian “Proprietary Limited” company as its only asset and liability, making transfer of the project very easy. A comprehensive information pack is available on signing a non-disclosure form. We have scheduled to drill this project later this year, and fully expect the results to cause an increase in the sale price. Climate, Vegetation and Topography: The area is located in the Southern Darling Downs west of the coastal range. The climate is temperate with summer temperatures ranging from between 17 – 35 degrees and winter temperatures ranging between 3 – 17 degrees. Annual rainfall is estimated at between 350mm to 700mm a year with the bulk of this occurring in the November to April rainy season. The area comprises undulating hills of modest relief which rise above a series of alluvial flats. The hills are covered with medium to dense scrubland and are used predominantly for sheep grazing. The area is also is also covered by the Queensland Governments Sunmap 1:25,000 topographic and Aerial photo maps. The Warwick 1:250,000 Geology map (SH5602) covers all of the area.

which has enabled the holders to keep the water down with very little trouble. A good deal of prospecting has been done in this claim, Fix this text there being over 300ft. of drives and crosscuts put in. They are now working two shifts, and expect to have over 100 tons to crush in a few weeks; the last crushing averaged about an ounce to the ton.
