Location and Access

The Hawkins Property is located 120 km South of Hearstaccess, Ontario, Canada. Access to the property is easy via logging roads which provide access to various parts of the claim group. The Algoma Central Railway line crosses the property from north to south, approximately three kilometers east of its mid point near Langdon Lake. The Canadian National Railway passes within four kilometers of the eastern part of the claim block to the north.

Description

The property consists of 111 claim units covering a total area of 1,776 hectares. The property is host to the historic Shenango Gold Mine. The Shenango prospect was in production during 1936, 1937 and 1945. Two shafts were sunk to 52 and 125 feet and an adit was driven 90 feet while following auriferous quartz veins cutting mafic metavolcanics. In the mid-1980's Falconbridge Exploration Ltd. carried out an extensive shallow drilling program and defined a low-grade auriferous felsic horizon with values of 1 to 4 grams per ton gold over 4 to 30 meter widths along a minimum strike length of 3 to 4 kilometers. Additional drilling is required at depth and the west.

The property has a 43-101 completed in 2007 and would require small amount of work to be made current. A full digital compilation of all work done on the property has been completed and is available to potential interested parties.

Geology

The Hawkins property has over 100 drill holes on the property which has outlined a gold trend over 3km in length.

Some intersections to highlight are (all in true widths close to surface):

Hole G0-83: 23.15m of 1.83g/t
Hole G0-40: 15.65m of 1.37g/t
Hole G0-34: 13.62m of 1.15g/t
Hole G0-10: 32.43m of 0.91g/t

History

Work covering the Taylor Prospect:

1929-1935 work preformed by Hawkins Mining Syndicate included a stripping, trenching and a 2,000 lbs bulk sample that uncovered 7 quartz veins one running 30.5 g/t Au over 0.30 metres and 5.1 g/t Au from test pit.

1935 Hollinger Gold Mines diamond drilling intersected 31.31 g/t Au over 6.1 metres.

Work covering the Shenango Prospect:

1935 to 1937 work preformed by Shenango Mining Co. included Trenching (1000 ft.), channel sampling, exploration shaft (52 ft.deep), adit (90 ft.), open cut mining, diamond drilling (2500 ft.) Assays average 0.140 oz./ton over 5 ft. wide and 400 ft. of strike length.

1937-1941 work preformed by Shenango Mining Co. included diamond drilling (400 ft.), trenching, production shaft (135 ft.) Reported assay results underground; 0.14 oz./ton over 30 ft., 0.18 oz./ton over 20 ft. 0.22 oz./ton over 15 ft. 0.17 oz./ton over 8 ft.

1945 work preformed by Shenango Mining Co. included clean up operation at mill. Results reported were recovery of 35.87 ounces of gold and 5 ounces of silver.

1979-1981 work preformed by St. Josephs Exploration Ltd. work included ground geophysics, I.P., geological mapping and sampling. Results reported that samples taken from muck pile returned assays of: 7.54 g/t, 6.69 g/t, 52.4 g/t Au
